StudioC is seeking a Business Development Representative who will be instrumental in expanding our ministry partnerships and helping churches discover solutions that drive engagement and growth. This role is pivotal in identifying and qualifying new opportunities, conducting thoughtful outreach, and building the foundation for lasting partnerships. You will work closely with our sales team to develop and nurture relationships with potential church partners.

You will work closely with our sales team to develop and nurture relationships with potential church partners.
Success in this role
A successful BDR at StudioC consistently creates awareness with church leaders, generates meaningful conversations, and delivers a predictable flow of qualified sales presentations to the sales team. Essential job functions
Prospecting & opportunity generation
- Research and identify potential church partners
- Fearless and persistent approach to prospecting
- Conduct thoughtful outreach through calls, emails, text
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and team
- A self-motivated and resourceful attitude to meet ambitious sales targets
- Some travel will be required, generally up to 10% of the time
Pipeline development
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system
- Track all prospecting activities and outcomes
- Collaborate with marketing and services teams on lead follow-up
- Contribute to the development of prospecting strategies
Market research
- Stay current on church technology trends and challenges
- Gather competitive intelligence
- Document prospect feedback and market insights
- Identify new market opportunities
- Familiarity with small business challenges and growth strategies is a plus
Team collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Services teams to ensure smooth lead and client handoff
- Participate in regular sales team meetings
- Share best practices and learning with team members
- Contribute to the refinement of sales processes
- Ability to confidently present solutions, address objections, and close deals
Job requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience & values
- 2-5 years of Business Development, SDR, BDR, Inside Sales, or a related sales role
- Experience with outbound prospecting and lead generation
- Demonstrated ability to meet performance metrics
- Experience with CRM systems; preferably HubSpot, including Sales & Marketing Hubs
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suite
